The Beacon was Coffs Harbour High School's magazine between 1934 and 2008. It was published annually, with the exception of the war years (1938 - 1947). The Coffs Harbour Regional Museum holds physical copies of The Beacon in their collections.

The digitisation of The Beacon was a collaboration between Coffs Harbour High School, Coffs Harbour City Council and the National Library of Australia. Available editions can be accessed via the National Library of Australia's Trove service, which you can browse here.

Copies of The Beacon between 2002 and 2007 are unavailable at the moment because of an issue extracting data from the flipbook reader used to publish them. Work continues to try and retrieve this information.
