In May 1945 the Coffs Harbour Shire Council changed Burke Park (between Moonee and Grafton Streets) to ANZAC Park and erected a memorial. The first Remembrance Day ceremony held there took place in 1947. [Source: Coffs Harbour Vol II : 1946 to 1964, Yeates, p.66] 

The name has since reverted to Patrick Burke Park.

The Inscription on the memorial reads: 1914-1919, Coffs Harbour ANZAC Memorial Park, to perpetuate the memory of our brave men. We remember them.
