Already we are aware of her subtle distinctive colour which became richer and more varied throughout her career.
In the second half of her life she concentrated on pictures of city buildings. She had moved to Manly. I always felt that Cynthia knew what she wanted to express through painting and in times of constant change she was steadfast in developing her personal vision.
The culmination of this quest was a successful solo exhibition at Manly Art Gallery in 2006.
