Deborah Kay studied at the National Art School in Sydney, studying print making, painting and photography. She worked in a photographic studio and as a stained glass artist. Deborah moved to Coffs Harbour in 1984.

She now divides her time between painting - landscape, still life and portraits, printmaking and drawing. "I also make artists books, where there is an enjoyable dialogue between the three art forms."
