Local art collectors Robert and Janice Hunter donated their collection of Aboriginal art to Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery in 2018. The collection features the works of 33 artists from Central Australia, the Kimberley and Arnhem Land, including Thomas Tjapaltjarri, Phyllis Thomas, Nellie Marks Nakamarra, Tommy Carroll, Gracie Morton Pwerle, June Peters and many others. These paintings explore the rich concepts that bind Aboriginal artists, communities and land together.
