Inscription on reverse: Olive Emma "Poll" MacKay nee Lucas, born 28.2.1903, died 1.10.1992, of Upper Orara, Coffs Harbour, married Angus Albion Erle MacKay "Butty" born 1.11.1902, died 25.9.1966, of Bowraville, at St. Georges Church, Eastwood, 17.9.1927. Remained there for two years, where 1st son Eric, was born, before returning to Coffs Harbour, where after other jobs, he lived on the family farm (at the end of the present MacKay's Road across the railway line,which is still a farm today, owned by MacKays descendants) for a time.

Eventually going into partnership with a brother, Bill, in bananas. In his younger days Erle, who was better known as "Butty" was a keen footballer (Rugby Union) and in 1921-22 played for Korora-Orara Rovers. He was especially noted for his goal kicking ability. Also in his early days drove a bullock team.
