Description
The hotel proprietor, Murdoch Stewart McLean, was also the first master of Coffs Harbour Masons, established as the Lodge Fitzroy in 1907. The buildings sat side by side.
Inscription on reverse: Sample rooms for commercial travellers. Used the Masonic Temple for some years. Later burnt down. Old "Cricketers Arms" Hotel at left Built 1907, the dog belonged to an old identity named Jimmy Green. Fred Wyborn's barber shop can be seen.
