In 2017, the Sawtell Historical Society loaned their photographic collection to the Coffs Harbour Regional Museum for digitisation.
These photographs highlight the changing face of Sawtell. From the beloved fig trees on First Avenue to the construction of the Sawtell Rock Pool and Sawtell Road, from Sawtell Surf Life Saving Club, local events and local businesses, they show the development of the village from empty fields to a thriving tourism hotspot.
Many thanks go to the Sawtell Historical Society for enabling these photographs to be made public.
