Architectural concept plan of the exterior of the North Pacific Hotel, later renamed The Plantation Hotel. The exterior is drawn with a squared facade, in contrast to the final curved design. The top right section has an annotated note written in blue pen which reads: 'This perspective is a drawing approved of and returned by the Licensing Council and must not be taken from file, signed H or M Guthrie, 23/12/53'. The drawing has been hand-coloured with watercolour inks.
