Porthole from the S.S. Keilawarra
The porthole was raised from the wreck accidently by a local fisherman c. 1980. The Keilawarra was sailing north on a regular trip to Brisbane. On 8th December 1886 it was rammed by the Helen Nicoll. It is believed over 40 people perished, including women and children. The site now serves as a memorial to those who tragically drowned.

Round metal frame containing a metal and glass porthole for a ship. Verified as being part of the Maritime wreck of the Keilawarra.
