Girl’s dress

Rose print cotton with silk lining, lace and ribbon trim.

Child's pink floral dress: voile, cotton and lace, pink under dress with hidden pocket, rosebud ribbon trim, panelled embroidery, hook and eye back.

A pink voille [sic] dress that I wore when five years old in 1916, dancing on a stage in a Church concert in the village of Worcester Park in Surrey, England.

My dancing partner, brother Jack, who was dressed in an Eton College Boy's suit together with a Top Hat. We were dancing and singing "Madam will you walk and talk with me?" and I sang 'Oh no John, no John. No!' His name is John, and he lives in Sawtell, one year older than me.
