Chantilly lace wedding gown: extended short sleeve lace and tulle over stiffened satin; square neckline; satin under-bodice has shoestring ribbon straps; lace over-skirt meets centre front; 3 under-skirts are made up of alternating rows of 3" lace with electro pleated tulle - all sewed to netting - for front of upper layer; next under-skirt is full netting and inner under-skirt in cream satin edged with hand stitch embroidery; centre back of overskirt has centre back insert triangular shape with lace alternating with pleated tulle across; centre back zipper.
Dress worn at wedding in Gunnedah on 29 September 1962. Sleeves subsequently shortened and train cut off so gown could be worn to balls.
