"Going Away Outfit"
For many years, it was traditional for the bride to change from her wedding dress before leaving for the Honeymoon. Hence an outfit to go away in.
This outfit was worn by Mrs Pam Pade (nee Hartley). She married Mr John Pade in Coffs Harbour, 28th October 1967.
The outfit was described as a semi fitted A line linen frock with matching jacket. Her accessories were lemon gloves and hat and black patent leather shoes.
Description
Yellow elbow length gloves with gathers from wrist to elbow, part of 'going away' outfit.
