Toy Log Truck
During the second World War, 1939-45, toys were scarce and impossible to buy. Many toys were hand made with material that was found in the shed. This truck is an example of a father's effort. The log truck was made in 1944 by Bob Bell of Timmsvale, for his son Graham, who was four. Timmsvale is on the Eastern Dorrigo and was the centre of a thriving timber industry at the time.
Description
