Order of the Eastern Star Immediate Past Matron sash in maroon cloth envelope. The sash is made from a purple velvet, and both edges are trimmed with gold braid. Both ends of the sash are trimmed with a gold fringe. At the point where the sash joins at the hip, there is a gold dome-shaped button from which hangs a gold tassel. At waist height is a double-ended clip which joins the back and the front of the sash together. These clips are linked by four strands of silver beads. Affixed to the front of the sash at chest height are the letters I P M in gold metal. The back of the sash is lined with black cotton. The envelope has a closure consisting of four metal press studs, and the initials 'I. P. M.' are stitched in white on the front. Included in the bag but not labelled is a small collar striped with the five colours of the Order; red, green, white, yellow and blue. Affixed to the back of the collar is a black bow.
