Letters patent number 7487 granted to George Hardacre by the Minister of Justice, 21 May 1897. The patent has been laminated flat but was originally sent folded in half. The cover reads that the patent was registered on 26 August 1897 by the Examiner of Patents. At the top right of the patent is an embossed seal that has been covered over by two squares of paper.
