Description
Drive shaft for banana case cutting rig mounted on a wooden base in a glass case. On the base are four buckle stoppers to hold the glass in place. The drive shaft is mounted to base on 3 wooden uprights with red plastic strips and silver studs. The plaque on top of the case suggests this item was presented by Mr & Mrs Reed on 26th November 1971 in commemoration of the first job undertaken by the Isles Forge & Engineering company on 12 June 1951. The job was for G. H. Manuel of Korora, for collars for drive shaft assembly for banana case cutting rig.
