These windows are from the original building of St John's Anglican Church. It was originally built on the corner of Moonee Street and West High Street in 1898. Due to the wet ground conditions, in 1908 it was then moved to the corner of Elizabeth and McLean Street. The church was rebuilt in 1911 and the original church was moved to the Jetty where it was re-named St Aiden's.
