Timber cabinet, from the Harbour Master's office at the Coffs Harbour Jetty. It has two doors on either end, two alcoves and four drawers in the centre. Glued inside the left-hand door is a handwritten document on a North Coast Steam Navigation Company letterhead. It is titled: 'Distance Table - Sydney Heads to Point Danger'. It lists the following locations: Sydney Heads, Barrenjoey, Norah Head, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Sugarloaf, Cape Hawke, Crowdy Head, Tacking Point, Smoky Cape, Nambucca River, Bellinger River, Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga, Clarence River, Richmond River, Cape Byron and Point Danger. The document is covered by a sheet of plastic.
