Silver puzzle box, almond-shaped stud or snuffbox. The lid is engraved with scrollwork and is decorated with a sun, crescent moon and two clocks which are moveable and act as the box's locking mechanism (these elements need to be correctly aligned before the case can be opened). The box is held together on the lid, sides and base with tiny screws. Engraved around the sides of the box is the name: 'Wm Mandeville Baker'. Engraved on the base is: 'Guildford, Surrey'.
