Description
Hopkinson & Cope printing press, hand operated, cast iron painted green. (Platton should have eagle on top). Above press' top curve is a highly ornate (for cast iron) piece with a screw protruding from its top. Left of front is a crest / shield painted over with a beast on either side. Stands on a curved base of two sets of feet. Two shafts at the front. Handle resting on press. Attached lever in front with polished wooden grip. Green and lovable in its past splendour of embellishments that are purely for show.
