Colour photograph of the Three Billy Goats Gruff display in Storyland Gardens, Bonville, mid-1980s. Storyland Gardens was a privately owned tourist park in Bonville, off Lyons Road. It featured child-sized buildings that depicted various childrens' fairytales, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Hansel & Gretel and others. It also featured a three-storey house built in the shape of the shoe from the nursery rhyme about the old woman who lived in a shoe. The 'shoe house' was originally built as a family home for the owners of Storyland Gardens, and was rented out over subsequent years. It was demolished around 2015, and the land was subdivided. The resulting subdivision was named Storyland Gardens after the park.
