The Woolgoolga Adventure Village on Pullen Street opened in 1977 and was built and run by Trevor and Anna Freestone. It included miniature houses children could play in, including tree houses, New Guinea spirit houses, and a space shuttle. The village also had a ridable miniature railway, and offered donkey rides.
