Robert & Janice Hunter Collection Part II

Following the overwhelming interest in this stunning collection of Central Western Dessert, Kimberley and Arnhem Land art, the gallery will showcase the second half of the collection.

Local art collectors Robert and Janice Hunter donated their collection of Aboriginal art to Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery in 2018. Featuring the work of more than 30 artists from Central Australia, the Kimberley and Arnhem Land, these paintings explore the rich concepts that bind Aboriginal artists, communities and land together. Including paintings by Thomas Tjapaltjarri, Nellie Marks Nakamarra, Phyllis Thomas, Tommy Carroll, Gracie Morton Pwerle, June Peters and many others.
