Scale in three parts - scale, weight and tray:

- fan scale: white enamel; weighs up to 10kg; metal; one side of fan shows weight, other side shows weight and table of prices, prices in 5c divisions up to $450

- 2kg weight: metal

- tray: chrome

Scale was used in Brooks Continental Delicatessen, owned by the Brooks family for many years. It was located in Commonwealth Bank Arcade, 98 Harbour Drive, Coffs Harbour, and had an electric sign at entrance to shops.

The business was purchased in July / August 1984 to manufacture and sell gourmet sausages, and renamed Beckies Sausage Shoppe. Owned by Dennis and Terrie Beckhouse. The scale was replaced within 12 months with digital scales.
