Martha travelled from Sydney to Bellingen in 1898 by paddle steamer. Her parents had a farm on North Bonville Road. Martha married Charles Williams in 1900, and they had four children - William Charles, Reginald Henry, Dorothy May and Esma Bernice. Dorothy did not marry and lived to be 100.
