Image: Om Sein’s suitcase that traveled from Myanmar to Thailand, Malaysia and finally Australia. She keeps her traditional clothes, and a special necklace (called Ng'Mou in Mindat Chin) handed down to her from her Mother in the suitcase. Before I left my country, I didn’t get a chance to go back to my house. My mum visited me, and bought me some traditional dresses and jewellery. I treasure these things as this was the last time I saw her. Each year on Chin State National Day on 20th February, her family dresses
