Description
This basket ware fan made from sisal is used to fan the flames and adjust the heat of the charcoal during the coffee bean roasting process. It also holds the cooling beans once roasted. Once the beans are ground, the powder is poured into the mouth of the jebena (clay coffee pot) from the mouth of the curved fan. After, the fan is tapped clean of the coffee grounds and is not washed after use. This fan was used in the video, Goitom's Story.
