Description
The timber slab wall was originally part of a dairy constructed from slabs split from huge turpentine logs harvested from the site at Coramba Road. Jack Pike Snr. acquired the slabs when he purchased the neighbouring property known as Calder Brae. Calder Brae was the name of the home on this property, however it was destroyed by fire. Jack Pike salvaged the slabs to build his banana packing shed. David salvaged them again in 2004 as a feature wall for his home built on the property. They were donated when this home was removed for the Coffs Bypass in 2022. The cattle brand marked on the wall belonged to Mick Pike
