Camera and stand

This camera was used by George Hardacre both personally and professionally. He recorded much of his family and their story on this camera.

Studio camera on tripod stand:

• large format glass negative folding box camera: wooden structure with bellows that allow camera to be extended. The bottom frame appears to be different from the top. Lens affixed to front - P. Angenieux, Paris, St Heand AX Type 65 F85-90 No. 414 006.
• Century No. 4 tripod stand, c. 1880s: wooden legs and table; height adjusted via metal wheel on a ratchet.
