Personifications of the juggle of work and motherhood, the primordial in conjunction with the refined porcelain, referencing ideals of the feminine, are captured in an awkward dance.
Placed on plinths adorned with artificial flowers and fruit they become fragmented remnants of an ideal. STILL: National Still Life Award is the signature event of the Yarrila Arts and Museum exhibition program and a biennial, acquisitive award for works in the still life genre, in all media, open to artists at all stages of their career.
