Coleing had moved back to Arakoon in 1974 following the birth of his son.
“I remember having a conversation with a woman who had bought the bush block behind us. She said that she moved there because she loved the trees but within days she had completed cleared her block. That was when I decided to sell my property at Arakoon. I ended up buying 100 acres 40 minutes north at Grassy Head. I am still here, surrounded by the bush and I can’t ever imagine leaving this place.”
