Bruce rode his Ducati motorbike all the way from Sydney, seen in the snake’s mouth once he reached his destination. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is seen on the top left and Trial Bay Goal on the top right. Santa Claus disappears over the horizon, the cooked crab is in the bottom left corner and Coleing’s beloved studio with the veranda built around a tree is on the right.
‘Cooked Crab at Struggle Town or To Do With a View’ (1975) is one of Coleing’s early collaborative artworks.
