Mount size: H. 346mm x W. 410mmArtist StatementIn 1980, Coleing was one of three artists chosen to represent Australia at the 39th Venice Biennale. He spent two to three months in Italy and Europe.
During his time overseas and following his return to Australia in late 1980, Coleing created a large body of works on paper that incorporated drawing and collage using postcards, photographs and other materials.
