An original black & white photograph mounted onto cardboard. The thick cream-coloured cardboard acts as a base for the photograph and also a frame for it. The frame part of the cardboard has two rectangular silver-coloured borders embossed onto its surface with art deco style patterning in the corners of the inside border. 

The photograph is of a rural scene with a small house, outhouse, and three farm sheds. The structures are made of wood with tin-like roofing. There is a fence running behind all the buildings, as well as a fence running over the hill on the far left side of the image. There are three people on the verandah of the house, with a small dog next to the seated man. There are two people on the horse drawn buggy next to the house. The landscape is mainly cleared grassed areas extending to the hill, treed far right.
