Description
A wall calendar for the year 1930 with a central image and tear-off months. Metal strips have been used to reinforce the top and bottom edges of the calendar. The image is of three children playing with their dog in an idyllic country setting. In the distance a sheepdog is visible with a number of sheep. Above the monthly pages is printed, "With Compliments from/R. C. Bray/The Cheapest and Best Storekeeper/Coffs Harbour." Contact details for the store are also given: "Phone 76" and "Box 29".
The image is a reproduction of English painter Arthur Elsley's work, "Safe Across". His signature is visible in the bottom left corner, with the date 1925.
