"as a mark of appreciation for faithful, loyal and efficient services rendered to the Society, especially during the transfer of operations from the old factory to the new". Beneath this text, the Directors and Manager of the Society are listed.

The text and decorative motif on the certificate are hand-drawn and coloured, with a black & white photograph at the top of the new Coffs Harbour Butter Factory premises.

Coffs Harbour Co-op Dairying and Refrigerating Society's second butter factory was built on a new site in 1926 to replace its 16 year old predecessor.
