Wedding gown with lace overlay: white crepe straight strapless dress with centre back zipper; cream lace is long over-jacket attached at centre front under bust with white crepe train and front bow; lace is also joined to centre back zipper seams; lower edge of lace over-skirt is very full and is lined with fine netting; sleeves have narrow opening, closing with hook and hand worked loop; front neck opening of lace is scalloped lace.

Gown worn with veil (Accession Number 10.123.1) and accompanied by matching coat hanger (Accession Number 10.123.2). Worn at wedding at Holy Trinity Church, Kingsford, in January 1971.
