Cream lace bridal gown, over-dress only (no petticoat), square neck. Long sleeves with pointed cuff, 6 fabric covered button & loop closure. Longer at back to form a train, 2 loops sewn into underside, on either side, near hem line. 

Worn by Jean Alberta Warden at her wedding to Norman James Schofield at Arncliffe Methodist Church on 2 September 1939. The dress was made by a friend and bride's sister wore it for her second marriage, post 1945. Bride made the bridesmaids' dresses.
