A pair of binoculars in a leather case. The binoculars are black and have a textured body, with a thin cloth adjustable strap attached to each side. The tan coloured leather case is stitched at the seams and lined with black leather. The case has a small handle on the top of it, and a longer adjustable strap which runs down the sides of the case and across its base. On the back of the case there are two bands of leather which have been stitched on through which a belt could be inserted. The top of the case is hinged and is secured to the body of the case via a small strap (end missing) and buckle.

Impressed into the top of the case is the text, "F.LTD/1940/BINOCULAR PRISMATIC No.5/CASE MK1".

On the binocular's lens is printed: "Ross London 1938/Binoprism No.5".
