Group of 28 rocks of varying shapes and sizes.

Rocks used in the field by Alex Floyd OAM (1926 – 2022), a botanist renowned for his expert knowledge of NSW rainforest plants who helped set up the North Coast Regional Botanic Gardens. It made up part of Alex Floyd's specimen collection kit which resided in his backpack.

Rocks may have been used in conjunction with slingshot (M2026.43.8) used to project sinker (M2026.43.11) attached to cord (M2026.43.9) and fishing line (M2026.43.10) to obtain hard-to-reach samples.
