The waterholes have dried up and the earth is cracking in the severe heat. The animals at this time of the year travel between the waterholes, looking for food and water in order to sustain themselves and to be able to breed. If the water has completely disappeared early in the season, the animals such as kangaroos and dingos conserve their energy and body weight and do not breed until a better Wet season arrives.Accession Number015.2019Access AdviceFor research purposes only.
