Description

John Suchomlin's sand model at Sawtell Reserve; These models formed a very interesting display by John Suchomlin. He worked in England and many cities in Australia, the Sawtwell models were created in 1962 using only sand, water and calamine colours and they were expected to last for five years. A structure was erected to curb vandalism, eventually they crumbled due to bad weather.
