The Mantelpiece Series has been driven by a desire to capture and preserve images of the mantel as it tells a story about who we are. These very personal 'still life' arrangements are at times very consciously configured, an artistic clutter of precious objects and photographs. Some have a more eclectic and less choreographed aesthetic, hinting at curious stories.
