This interview was recorded in the 1980s on the occasion of the recreation of the last ride of the 12th Australian Light Horse Regiment by veterans. The original ride was from Armidale to Coffs Harbour in 1941, just before the disbandment of the Regiment.

While the ride stopped in the Eastern Dorrigo, Graham Bell interviewed former Regiment officer Duncan Mackenzie and Lionel Timms, President of the Ulong Ex-Services Club.
