The interview opens with a book extract, possibly of Nancy's autobiography The White Mouse. During World War 2, Nancy became a journalist and talks about witnessing brutalities suffered by Jewish people in Vienna. She talks about her work with the French Resistance and with the Special Operations Executive, including helping soldiers nad airmen escape to the south of France. She talks about parachuting into France with a hangover. Nancy Wake retired to Port Macquarie, and also talks about her impressions of Coffs Harbour.
