In 2003 two good mates Peter and Grace Blacker travelled to the Gulf of Carpentaria to catch barramundi.
For 13 years Peter and Grace would take the 3 day trip from Coffs Harbour to the Roper River in the Northern Territory carrying their camping gear, fuel and boat. They would meet friends and camp together there each year. They would also see lots of King Brown snakes as well as crocodiles, counting fifteen pairs of crocodile eyes one night at the same time. N.T. Parks and Wildlife would often call on them.
All fish were returned to the water except for one meal which is allowed by law.
