This road is a shorter scenic link between Beaudesert, Queensland and Grafton, NSW. It passes through the exquisite Border Range National Park and overlooks the unique Spiral Loop Line.

Jack Hurley was the 'Big Chief' in the Kyogle Lions Club who organised and encouraged the building of this magnificent tourist road. Jack was the chairman of the Lions Road Committee for 40 years. This video shows how it came about and the building of the road.
