In 1919, the Sydney Mail published a photograph of this Honour Board. [Source: MAGNIFICENT PATRIOTISM—GERMAN REVOLUTION—AND OTHER TOPICS. (1919, June 11). Sydney Mail (NSW : 1912 - 1938), p. 15].

The resulting list of names shown on the Board are slightly different. Most importantly, the name A. P. Miane is photographed as A. P. Milne, and appears immediately above W. Milne.

The notation of death while serving was correct, as follows:

Much sympathy is expressed with Mr. and Mrs. J. Milne in the loss of their son Private A. P. Milne, who died in Canada recently while on active service in France.

Alexander Milne was born in Scotland. He served with the 10th Battalion Canadian Infantry. He died on 5 June 1919, and is buried in the Calgary Union Cemetery, Canada.

The Coffs Harbour Regional Museum researched the names of all the soldiers (and Sister Jessie Buchanan) inscribed on the World War I Honour Boards from Karangi, Lower Bucca and St John's Anglican Church.
