There are high mountains and flatland in between. I have painted the southern part - colours of the land are in summertime at sunrise looking pink with the early morning sunlight. The gap between the two high hills is called Ngalyarrin Gap - in the Ngarrangkarni (Dreaming) the Goolarbool (Snake) is said to have started his journey, making the gaps and the caves all round this place.Accession Number010.2019Access AdviceFor research purposes only.
